We are in for an inversion again...

That is when the weather is inverted. The higher up you go the warmer it is and lower you go the colder it is. It will be cold, grey and stinky after Christmas. Everyone is having weird weather. Hope all are safe and warm.

Yeah, iit'll be a warm Christmas. As long as it doesn't rain, I'll be happy.

@just4him ...We have crusty snow on the roads. A little else where. Don't want alot but this can go anytime and not return. I like the moisture we are getting. I hope it is enough to help with the fires this next summer.

@celticeagle We had a few snowflakes that coated the ground overnight Christmas morning, not much though and it didn't last very long. I'm very glad it didn't rain yesterday.

For those who don't care for rain that is a good thing.

@arthurchappell ...We sure are getting some bizarre weather. It is more like spring in some areas than winter.

@celticeagle much of the county is severely flooded around where I am, so overall we get too much rain - it is clouding up where I live now though we are unlikely to flood here

Weird isn't the word for it LOL! 62 degrees at 6 am is 30 degrees above normal for this date. I have a feeling once Jan. hits we'll find out what winter is really all about.

It is good to keep the windows open on occasion to get some fresh air.

There used to be a time when used to pull out sweaters and jackets from the trunk in the month of October and even ceiling fan was No-No from October onwards. Now, we don't even think about wearing sweaters and turning off ceiling fan until the mid of November. Weather is acting weird and it will continue acting the same until and unless we don't find a permanent or a better solution for the problem of global warming. These days , you can count the wings of a flying bird but you can't predict the weather.

Around here we have what is called the five minute rule. If you don't like the weather just wait five minutes and it will change.

We have snow on the ground and with an inversion coming it will probably stick.
