A Little Depressed This Christmas

This is the first Christmas where we've been unable to go home to be with our family, so both my husband and I are a bit depressed this year.
We've tried to plan a full day so we don't sit around moping. He is an amazing cook and has everything ready for our dinner tonight. After church, we're going to go to see Star Wars. Then, we're planning on doing some Skype calls so we can see everyone.
While we're very sad not to be with them, we are so fortunate to be able to Skype with them later on.

I had to work this year and did not make the trip to see my daughter. I know they think of me and I them. But with Skype or face time we can still see them and they do feel closer to us. It will all work out and you will have a wonderful time together. Enjoy your holiday and know your family still loves you both.

yes. skype helps one keep in touch with relatives all the time as if we are with them in person. happy christmas.

Yes, I can see why you feel this way. But it is good you are planning other things, and not thinking about it.
