Unexpected Christmas Guest / myLot

It was going to be just my boyfriend and I for Christmas this year, but one of the neighborhood kids asked if they could eat with us. We asked their Grandmother, who he stays with, if it was okay. She had no problem with it. He played video games while we finished cooking dinner. We made him a plate and he LOVED the food my boyfriend and I cooked together, especially the ham and potato salad. He ate fast and cleared his plate, which was not like him at all! We then asked his Grandmother if she would like us to make her a plate and she said yes. Her grandson was telling her she had to try it because it was so good! His Grandmother loved our Christmas Dinner too! We both love cooking and were happy to see others enjoying our food. It was a nice surprise having a guest for Christmas Dinner.

That was so nice of you to have him as your diner guest and then made a plate for his grandmother, I wonder if they did not have much to eat at their home.

Well, I think they had some sort of dinner with their family... but the boy said he didn't really eat because someone said something out of the way to him and he lost his appetite. We were happy to share our Christmas Dinner with them, whether they had food or not.
