Are you a Marilyn Monroe fan?

I can't believe there is a movie with MM in it that I haven't seen. Just now watching "Let's Make Love". I don't recall having ever seen it. I have "Gentle Prefer Blondes" in my DVR and may watch it later. Have seen it several times and enjoy it each time. I think the three MM movies I really enjoyed were "Some Like It Hot" and "River of No Return" and "How to Marry a Millionaire". So what are your favorite MM movies? Image courtesy of Flickr.com

Yes, indeed. I wonder what could have been if she hadn't left us when she did.

I haven't watched too much of her, but know the feeling, whenever I find a natural disaster movie I missed

She is OK and some of her first films are good. I was never a real fan of hers that had to see every film she made.

@celticeagle I never really watched to many of them. Not sure why but I guess it was because of translations or something else back then.

I think that you might mean "River of No Return". That had Mitchum in it. "Bend in the River" starred James Stewart, Arthur Kennedy, Julie Adams, and Rock Hudson.

@celticeagle I stand corrected. I remember now that Mitchum sang a song by that name too.

I have seen most of Marilyn's movies but cannot say I am a fan. Not my type despite the fact she was supposedly every man's type.

I have seem a few of the films that she was in, but I have never been a fan. Her popularity really amazes me because she cannot act, cannot sing seems to emulate the proverbial dumb blonde.

Oh dear. You really don't get it do you? Sadly she was wasted on you. She was a very smart women and gave them what they wanted. And, she had some characters she played very well. She was learning.

There is one movie that I like and it's not the most famous "The Prince and the Showgirl", with Sir Laurence Olivier.
