After years of stale smelly fish lunches I'm not to thrilled to read baked fish as they buy supermarket fish at reduced prices meaning they are't fresh. They stink when cooked and often make me ill if I eat them. Oh my the vacuum from hell is being used right now in my room but at least the care gver made my bed amd cleaned our bathroom. The housekeeping aides seem to forget our room, and when thee do come in do a rotten job. Some of the new hires and they are very lazy.If I had done my nurses aide job l ike that I would have been handed a pink slp. I have never been fired from a job as the two I had I really loved and did a great job always.

That does not sound healthy. I only hope that the chef is a better cook and able to keep things done in a better way - for the fish. Unfortunately, not many nurses of today love the profession they are into. And probably that is why they do not do their jobs efficiently. But still, some of them are really good and keep the faith in their Noble Profession alive.

Most just do the job for the money and do not care weather they work hard or not.

@jstory07 I agree. But very recently, I found a set of nurses who were very caring and went beyond to help. That is what made me say - some of them are really good and keep the faith in their Noble Profession alive

I no longer like to eat much fish but I do like salmon and shrimp. To bad the housekeeping people are not doing a good job and the nurses aids are not doing their job either. I think maybe you need to find a new place to live as you do not seem happy there.

I never worked in nursing. I used to entertain my 96 year old great grandmother while my grand mother was out working in the yard. This was when I about six or seven. Old enough to read. I would find a story in Reader's Digest to thrill her with or made up my own as I went along. She was blind and was still stitching quilt pieces together as I read to her.

hopefully the bad aides will leave, and you will get ones that love their jobs.
