The Wizard of Main Street (A Poem)

There's a Wizard on Main Street.
His name is Hal.
He's tall and good looking.
Would you like to be his pal?
He'll teach you to fly on a broomstick at night.
He'll make you potions that will turn dark to light.
He'll erase bad memories from your mind.
He'll give you powers that will make you feel fine.
The Wizard of Main Street
Is a benevolent soul.
His cat even knows how to
Rock and roll.
Perhaps if you're lucky
One day you will meet
The charming Wizard
On Main Street.

I've had 8 books published, 1 play produced, innumerable magazine and newspaper stories, a weekly column in a magazine and one in a newspaper--with all that I CAN NOT WRITE A POEM!!!
