Happy New Year to my Mylotter friends across the world, and for those who will be staying up at midnight with me.
Today my brother returns from his 10-day European holiday vacation with a long flight ahead of him--7 hours to Munich, then a train ride, and then a five-hour layover in Canada. I don't know what time he'll be home tonight, since he didn't say in the emails when I asked him this weekend. But I believe he'll be home by midnight and recover from jet lag this weekend.
Today also marks the 10-year anniversary of when I've had my two adult senior male cats, Marshall and Wylie, both brothers and domestic indoor cats. Someday I'll post a new photo of them.
What are you New Year's holiday weekend plans?

My wife and I plan to stay home, out of the rain, and watch the festivities on TV, if we can stay up that late. Our oldest son went up to the city to spend NYE with friends and our youngest to spend it with his girlfriend and their friends up there.

Same here, DW. Stay home from the cold and watch the ball drop on TV before bed.

I hope he gets in okay. Jet lag will hit sometime tomorrow or the next. I remember when my kids slept almost the entire day when we came back from Guam and that was 37 years ago. I have no plans for tonight other than to get the house organized and go shopping, though the shopping might need to wait until tomorrow.
