Are you able to admit your downfalls...?

Among the many things that are wrong with me one of them is that I am dyslexic. This is a very common learning disorder and I am sure a few of you have this as well. I have suffered from this as a young child, but because my mom didn't believe in such things as mental or learning disorders, it got pushed to the side. I am not even sure to this day if there was anything I could have done as a child to improve this condition. But, that's in the past, and I don't blame my mom for anything. It's just how she was raised as well. But, I struggle here on this site with my typing and it might take me a little longer then most to write a post because I read and reread my post over and over to make sure it is correct before I hit send. But I hope this explains some of my errors and why I am not so great with my words sometimes. I have learned to laugh at most of it anymore. Are you able to admit your downfalls, or do you keep them a secret as I tried to for most part of my years growig up?

I must admit I'm a little dyslexic myself and avoid many things if I can because of it. This is the first time I've said this online so that is a big step for me to say so. I think people may guess with what i write or how I write.

sometimes it's hard to guess with typing. you could just be a really bad typer. But with me I don't notice bad typing, bad grammer or spelling errors because I can almost read right through them. It's weird. but don't ask me to read out loud. lol.

@T_gray Yeah I'm the same there, it when I'm typing and the usage of Grammar and spelling I hopeless at. I believe with using/being here and when I was on Bubblews too I'm getting better but I always have to check and check again, than I see mistakes after I've posted posts. I wish I was better at writing but I won't be. No I don't like reading out aloud.

@T_gray You may be right if you are tired or had a drink, not sure. Until I came to online I never really had to write much. When I first wrote something I was so please it was online. I told a friend from work. He said to me it needs some work doing on it, I wasn't sure what he meant, so he told be, I was shocked and delete them. After sometime I tried again and double checked everything and still do to make sure the spellings are ok but I know I miss things.

I hope that I readily admit my downfalls sometimes too much even. I do not mind not being the best at everything even too. Some people can do no wrong however as we know.

One would never know it as our finished posts are lovely. I suffer from carpal tunnel sydrome and thus I do make a lot of errors as my right hand is partly numb a lot and louses up my typing so I have to edit a lot.

So it probably takes you a bit to write a post to huh? Sometimes it annoys me....even to write comments. I am a fast typer, but I make so many errors because my mind spells things wrong. it gets frustrating sometimes but I try to make the most of it.
