I uwsed t say I wanted t really llve while Im alive and latel yI feel beaten do wn and negative. No wonder I'm making myself uhappy, Life is for living. I'm fighting this horrid carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand that louses up my typing as my right hand is partly numb so often messes up on typing with my right hand. My doctor gave me an exercise to do to strenghten that hand but recommends surgery. Has anyone had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome and if so did it thelp?

My friend had surgery for carpel tunnel and has never looked back. I do hope you get it sorted soon. Happy new year

@Hatley I would have the surgery after all You don't want to live in pain and stop doing this do you. I think you will find , it does not get better on its own. Take care. be brave and have a pain free new year.

My sister had the surgery and loves that there is no pain anymore. Are you thinking of getting the surgery, it was fairly simple for my sister.

No, I do not have carpal tunnel, but I do hope the exercise the doctor gave you will help and you will not need surgery. I also hope you will have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year @Hatley .
