Lending Money to My Grandson

“Paw-paw!” my grandson said to me, “I need to borrow $20 from you!” “No problem.“ I answered while taking out my wallet, “Glad to help.” Then he surprised me with, “Just give me HALF of it now!” “Okay!” I said, “But why only half now?” “This way,” he explained, “You will still owe me $10 and I will owe you $10. That makes us even!” It sure did but I still don’t understand how that happened.

Now there is a smart kid. Better watch out, or you will be borrowing money from him.

Now that is funny lol that's the kind of negotiating my kids try to do. Except mines talk fast so you catch yourself saying yes okay and agreeing before you realize what you have just agreed to.
