Flve pm came and went, my bird friends did not come The electric lines are empty and its almost dark I missed their little meetings made my day not humdrum. Perhaps hey had some little spat maybe in he park.? I had watched my five little friends for a week They would meet always at that one l ight pole Light on the lines and one seemed to speak As if he had notes and called the roll Perhaps they were all good friends who did meet And they elected his one bigger bird to be speaker Maybe he had all the attributes they did seek Probably all the other four were m uch meeker. S o I miss my l ittle bird buddies and hope they're alright. I guess that hey have all fl own to their homes for the night Per ha ps they rescheduled their meeting to a different site To me watching them, holding their meeting was such a sight One original poem b P Hatley copyrighted 2016

Maybe your bird buddies got invited over to another bird's hangout. Change is always good.

@Hatley I think it is a pattern of their birds as i always see them in formation when flying too , in flocks .
