A lady I worked with got injured while putting a portable garage at her house. She looks horrible she has this giant cut with stitches between her eyes. Has two black eyes, and just random cuts along her face.
One of the people at work made a comment how her husband purposely did this.
I doubt this, these two have been married for years, and she showed us pictures of the garage.
I wouldn't say so did your husband do it to you, I would ask what happened.

From my stand put - for the co-worker to make a comment that her husband purposely did that to her isn't right. We don't know the situation and really it could be her getting injured from installing a portable garage.
I would ask if she's okay, but I wouldn't spread rumors throughout the work place.

That is my stand point as well.
I asked her if she was fine, and looks painful. But wasn't saying your husband punch you.

Seems to be the common reaction when someone gets cuts or bruises on their face, blaming it on a spouse.

At first I thought they were joking which I can see but then if he actually did something. But the way they said it was almost serious like.
