Running Away From Home.

I'm not sure the first time I ran away, at 7 years old really I sure didn't get very far. That was because I wasn't allowed to cross the street by myself. At 15, I thought I knew more than my folks. They didn't agree. It only took about three months of being on my own to realize that perhaps my parents weren't so dumb after all. Did you ever run away when you were a kid?

Yes, I ran away a few times, never stayed gone very long though, the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Tried once. I was about 16. I was dragged back by my hair and gives a beating. I wasn't going to risk that again. I got married at 19. Problem solved. I had moved out.

not really, I'd go away for awhile, but I knew not to leave the property. I was scared I'd get lost if I did.

i was not brave enough to run away. I thought there were buggy men out there. Maybe if I had been a boy I might have thought about it anyway. Good that you went home, I'll bet your parents were mad at you but must have been worried too..

I never ran away. It was too far to get to anywhere else.

No I can't remember ever running away, though I can think of times I felt like it.
