Running Away From Home.

I'm not sure the first time I ran away, at 7 years old really I sure didn't get very far. That was because I wasn't allowed to cross the street by myself. At 15, I thought I knew more than my folks. They didn't agree. It only took about three months of being on my own to realize that perhaps my parents weren't so dumb after all. Did you ever run away when you were a kid?

I thought about running away a few times over the years but figured it wouldn't be worth the punishment. The closest my kids got to running away was our oldest insisting he was going to move out as soon as he turned 18 so he wouldn't have to live by our rules anymore--three years later he's still here.

i was not brave enough to run away. I thought there were buggy men out there. Maybe if I had been a boy I might have thought about it anyway. Good that you went home, I'll bet your parents were mad at you but must have been worried too..
