Making the myLot 'Hot List' makes a difference

The first four days in January I averaged 55 cents a day. One of the discussions I started was asking where people were since it was so quiet in here. That discussion made to the "Hot List" #1 spot and yesterday's daily total was 89 cents. That's a nice increase thanks to more exposure.
Making it to the "Hot", "Top" or "Interesting" lists definitely gets you more exposure and the benefits are more than just a bigger bank total. You garner more 'friends' and that means more fun.
You never know what will or won't make it to those lists. When we start discussions our goal isn't to make a certain list. But it is nice when it happens, even if by accident!

hi@Abb yGreenhill and it gets one noticed by ones friends and potential friends too which makes it fun and makes yu earn better too.
I find so many mylotters here are so friendly and that gives a homey atmosphere to mylot. On the old bubblews there was a bt f snobbisbness there that I really did not enjoy

There were a lot of 'groups' there ,but I have to say until they made the changes I did very well there. But this is now and myLot is home!

@HanVanMeegerin at one time I found four plagiarists o n that featured list who got paid using other peoples writings I told the admins who did nothing.

@MALUSE - no, totally different, those on Bubbs were chosen at random by the powers that be - they never could explain how that worked. I have to agree with Han on that.

@MALUSE not quite like Bubblews. Their featured and front page exposure system was a total sham, though they claimed it was based on some sort of specific criteria.

I have recently discovered that, too, thanks to one particular user who took the trouble to comment liberally in one fairly old discussion of mine. It must have appeared in the "Hot" list as a result and I got several more responses on that discussion!

You are doing great, congrats. I am not sure what I have done since the new year started, but I am sure that it is more than what I was making last month. I also think the traffic has picked up some too. I am really happy for you, as I am so happy that someone is doing it, even if I am not.

The hot list is decided just on it's figures, which is fair because it means that we, the members, decide who is there. If we don't read or comment on them it won't make it - a much better way than an individual behind the scenes deciding what should be there.
