Stop That Clock

Can anyone stop that clock here? It is going too fast for me. I just came back from walking for 36 minutes and set the clock for a break here for 30 minutes. There is only 5 minutes left and it is going to ring and make me get off that comfortable office chair. Then it means that I have to vacuum the kitchen floor and Swiffer it. Life is cruel, forcing me to do some housework which I hate to do. I would much rather stay here for a while longer, but I must go. I'll be back like Arnold!

I also have to quit in a few minutes and go down in the kitchen and prepare the food for the Epiphany dinner, then, finally, all the festivities are over.

I think I would do the housework first and use Mylotting as my reward. Then I am all done with the must dos and can concentrate on here.

@marlina ...I used to do the same thing. But I liked to try to get as much of the awful stuff done right away as I could.

I do some housework and then come here for a short rest and then go back.

I guess that the only way that chores will go away is to hire a maid.

I wish that housework would go away, of course having a cleaning lady would do it.

I always mylot in between cleaning but I never set an alarm clock. I just know when it's time to get back to cleaning or else it won't get done

when you had heavy work or busy with work you feel to stop that clock.

@hiru84 When we wait for something, yes, time then is going too slow.

@marlina That's true. Sometimes it's very fast and sometimes it's very slow specially, we wait for something time is going slowly. Isn't it ?

@marlina Ha! ha! "Time and tide waits for no man." Work we must, sitting idle can harbor a devils' workshop.

@marlina I do not claim to be wise, my dear. Its just what was dinned into me by my parents. At times, its very hard to stick by it. But I try.

It happens to me quite a lot of times...All we can do is to respect the clock and just enjoy the work.Maybe you can turn the music on and just enjoy the moment.

I think I have been putting too much fun into my life and not enough discipline. Time for some action. My walk this morning and my excellent coffee gave me lots of energy so I am just taking advantage of it. It is not always so good.
