The oldest woman to ever live was 122 years old, her name was Jeanne Calment, she died in August of 1997. Tortoises can live into there 200's, there is one that is 255 years old, Alligator 80 years old, Asian Elephant lived to be 86, the oldest horse was named Bill and, he lived to be 62 years old, this one I find the most amazing though, there was a house cat, who lived to be 38 years old. There are also reports of Sturgeon, Orca and, Eels all living to be in their 100's. What are your thoughts?

Yes, I believe so :) There is a list on Wikipedia a few in their 200's, pretty awesome. I wish humans could live that long.

Wow, 122 is a very long life. I wonder what kind of shape she was in.

That is amazing! I just hope the alligators here in Florida don't live that long.

I guess it depends on how well you take care of yourself, I think. I don't know really. Could be good genes too. Or a combination of all of it. And that is one old cat, he must have been really well taken care of.

It's all up to God in the end really, but yes we should try to take care of ourselves the best we can and, avoid risky situations, it was a girl Cat, but yes and, I hope mine will live that long.

Some things go on for years and years. I don't think I'd want to live to 122.

I had thought that elephants lived longer than we do, so thanks for the info.
