It has been more than 24 hours since I last took a long sleep. My longest record of being awake was 3 days, and yesterday, I decided that I would not sleep because me and my cousin are going to do something awesome with our computers. So from 8:00 pm - 10:00 am, we were in front of the computer doing some computer wizardry. After that, we were exhausted but we cannot sleep yet since we have a family date in the afternoon so I just decided to post an entry here in myLot. He he he Anyway, what do you think about depriving yourself of sleep? Do all effects of sleep deprivation negative?

sleep deprivation is very dangerous. It can even kill you the body can not function properly and not smart to make a habit of doing that on purpose

It will affect your health in the long run. The most obvious sign of sleep deprivation would be dark circles around the eyes which would make you look haggard, tired and old. Our bodies are also machines and like mechanical machines they deserve some rest for uptimum performance.

I agree with you, it can definitely hurt a person in the long run, plus, the effects of sleep deprivation in the short run is still not beneficial for the person as some brain functions can't function at a higher level. Thanks for the info.
