I felt like I had too much ice cream too fast!

I had a headache for the latter part of my work shift last night. My head started to pound and it was all I could do to concentrate on the task at hand. At one point I was tasked with blocking the snack aisle. The snack aisle has freezers right across from it. It was whilst on this aisle that my head started to ache worse. You know the feeling you get in your head when you've had a bit too much ice cream too fast? That is how my head felt for a good few minutes. I highly doubt that the freezer's had anything to do with it as it was not cold on the aisle and I did not feel cold. I just thought it was fitting that my headache progressed to that whilst across from the frozen treats. Honestly I think it's this weather we've been having. It's turned cold but just last week we could get by in short sleeves. I am off to bed mylot! I worked a little over last night so I am definitely ready for rest and relaxation!

Sounds like a rough day at your job. Hope you feel better and that headache goes away. I've been getting headaches with my cold too.

Yes it was a rough night. I'm a stock clerk and this week is a coupon special. I am lucky in that I asked off for two days so I only have to deal with it twice instead of four time.s I am feeling better, thank you. I'm sorry you've got a cold, it seems as if it's running rampant this year.

@KristenH Have you had snow this year? Haven't been paying much attention to the weather for the Nation. We've not had any here.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Thanks Scribbled. It comes with the territory, since it's freezing cold over here. You're welcome. Glad you have time to decompress and regroup.

You could be right, it could have something to do with the weather. We have to adjust to the cold. I have not been feeling well myself. I think it;s the weather.

I honestly wish that it would make up it's mind. I wouldn't mind snow but it gets just cold enough and then goes right back up to warmer temps!

A change in air pressure perhaps. Or something in the ice cream. Sodium of some kind can cause headache and it is used in different forms in foods.

I didn't have ice cream celtic, it just felt like an ice cream headache. I did have a Amy's Frozen Entree, but I think they usually have less sodium than other brands. It may have been the sodium though.

That is what they call it if you actually ATE ice cream. I hadn't had any at the time. My head was already pounding and then it got that feeling about it.

When I was a teenager I would often get head aches when going outside in the cold. As soon as I got inside the head ache would stop

That's kind of odd. Usually if I go into a cold place for a few minutes my head aches will stop. Did you have a lot of ear aches or ear infections growing up? It could have been pressure in your ears. I have ear problems now. Some days i feel as if I have a ear infection but the feeling only lasts a little while before it's gone again.

I think you can have a cup of hot coffee to balance the body temperature in future. You may have a diarrhea instead of headache oh.
