A nice way to end the day!

I had a rather disastrous morning. I left the house to walk to the station in the pouring rain. A car came along and headed towards a massive puddle which sprayed me from head to foot drenching me right through. I turned around headed back home and had to change all my clothes and headed back towards the station. When I got there I told the man where I wanted to go and went to pay for the ticket but I had left my wallet in my soaking trousers.
So back to the house I trundled and grumbled to get my wallet my wife said at this rate why don't you go back to bed and call it a day as it can only get worse.
I could not do that as I had four classes booked to teach today so I could not let them down.
When I came home I had a laugh about this morning with my wife and told her right that's my yearly bath over and done with for 2016 although I must admit I was not in the mood for laughing about it this morning.
I came to my study to check my emails and there was a message from Paypal to say that I had been paid by mylot. Nice one. I had not even requested it. It must have come automatically? So that has left me with a bit of a smile on my face!
Have you ever been drenched like this. I know I have seen it happen to others but this is the first time I have ever experienced it. I know the guy had done it deliberately and had he stopped he would probably now be under the plastic surgeon's knife!
Anyway I am orf to my bed now. Have a great evening!

Oh no Janet he drove at it deliberately. Well all I can say is what goes round comes round. He will get his comeuppance!

If you do it deliberately then that is not big or clever. Accidentally is acceptable.

@garymarsh6 What can I say? I did it! I was young and it was funny. BUT I did not think it was funny when it happened to me but where do you think I got the idea to do it in the first place?

Goodness, I am sorry for your terrible morning! I have had that happen to me, and it seemed as though the person did it on purpose to me as well. I had my 3 young children with me walking-which made me more angry because they got wet too!
I'm glad MyLot could end your day better than it started.

Ker plowie right on his kisser. /back a million years ago I w as in a nice clean white uniform on my way to work at Bennett Memorial hospital when a car came too lose to the curb on tha rainy day and literally gave me an icy bath. I was almost at the hospital so I got there early went to the laundry and they had a fresh warm uniform for me. I even showered there and was on duty on time as a nurses aide. lol

Good on you Patsie. I was teaching nurses all day yesterday so I had no choice about getting myself sorted and getting there,

I think anyone walking beside a roadway has been hit. The icy , dirty, salty slush of winter has to be the worst.

Isn't it great that we don't have to ask for payment? I was walking on the pavement one day and a bus was heading for a puddle. I was going to get soaked but there was no where for the driver to go. He looked as horrified as I did.

Poor man and you. This guy did it deliberately though so I hope someone does the same to him!
