Sick....

Being sick sucks. Nobody likes it. That aching feeling in your whole body, sore throat, congested nose, headaches up the wazoo ect. You get the idea. It's hard going to work sick. Everyone has done it, lets get real. What's even harder is being sick and coming home from said job and then having to take care of a small child by yourself for the rest of the night. Fun stuff right? Yeah no...
My fun filled night was me putting on my son's favorite TV show on while playing with him on the floor with his toys praying I didn't get him sick since he just got over having a fever not too long ago.
Now I am trying to figure out what to eat before heading to bed with a good book before I conk out in bed. I feel older than I am.

It sure does! I always get a cold it seems like when someone is making something good and wants me to try it. I can't taste anything! Oh woe is me. I do hate to be sick. It seems like the sickness goes all the way through the family. Why can't we just all get it if we must at the same time. And, I get a cold that feels like the flu so why not just have the flul? And the one time I get a pill for the flu it is a different strain. So, why am I given this again?

My hubby helps when he is home, but we usually have opposite work schedules so it's a little hard sometimes.

I am not a mommy yet, but I know it sucks to be sick when you cannot take the day off from work. I was not contagious then, just feeling icky and under the weather. Not fun at all. I remember looking forward to the weekend and I almost kissed the calendar when it was finally Friday.

Thanks. My hubby did when we were off together, but then reality kicked in and it was off to work we go lol.
