Since my boyfriend's labrador passed on due to old age. She was a very sweet yellow lab. She loves hunting with him, she would run and would get her nose raw but she will not stop. She just loves the outdoors. But last winter, she died because of old age. She was 17 years old. I suggested getting a new dog but I think it was still painful for him. And I understand. She was more than just a pet. She was his hunting partner. She was his baby.
