Wild life happy

I was toting up what happy is for me today. Then I glanced down at my menu list.
Hmmm. "Wild life!!!!" I'd slipped a cog and written wild life instead of wild rice. I love it.
Happy for me today is: temps above freezing. The fog did not make the morning miserable. Easy peasy drive.
Another happy: I learned to stomp my feet into the slippery, melting snow on the slope down to Peter burro. Made life easier and less scary.
Another happy: Leah pup continues to mind me. I call her to come to me and there she is. I tell her Heel, Leah! She stays by me as I make my way down the worse of the slope, my hand gripping her collar for an anchor. Good pup.
Another happy: I continue to hear out of my left ear.
One more happy: I can doze when I need to.
Final happy: I found a baggy of wheat flour in the freezer. I can make dumplings for tonight's stew now.

@Ponder243 I'm with you on no more snow. We made it to town and wow!!! the temps went up to 37. Down right hot.

@sallypup It is cold but clear here today. And that's what they are calling for tomorrow as well with some snowfall tomorrow night! I don't mind the cold so much, but I can do without the snow!

It is good to make a list like this of happiness.
I guess one happy for me today is that I made cornbread biscuits piping hot.
I got the idea from a fellow Lotter.

Oooh @tiarsoceanview cornbread biscuits. And hot. I am guessing slathered with butter. I make pigs N Blankets out of such dough- wrap sausage or hot dogs with that dough and bake it.

Nice list! Things that make me happy:
A new box of art materials from my favorite online art store
A healthy, floofy, demanding calico
Said calico bouncing around after a mouse because the cosequin is helping her hips
Snow on the mountains behind the house
Flowers and fruit on local cacti
Ravens and falcons and other neat stuff in the air
A well drawn line with a technical pen.
