Lately I have had some problems b ut they seem small
Because I can walk and talk and think thats not all
Some here hav e only one leg but one man has none
So i think perhaps Im am luc ky I d on't have a ton,
I can see and i can think and walk and talk
So I find myself being glad I'm no worse off
Some thing will be solved and I will be fine
Life is too short to always whine

@Marcyaz , sometimes even those who already have still complain, kids complain why it's Adidas and not Nike, adults don't like Omega cause they prefer Rolex etc.. It's like a big problem to them cause they don't seem to see people who lack around them

Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to be able to walk and talk ( and feed ourselves). Some of the simplest things that we take for granted are really our biggest blessings

@Marilynda1225 Yes we are lucky we can walk and talk and feed ourselves, those are simple things that we take for granted forgetting some others can't do that much.

I once read this sentence: "I used to cry because I didn't have any shoes, but then I saw a man who didn't have any feet" The sentence reminds me of the things that I am grateful for. I have some illnesses, but it could be much worse, and some people face challenges that are much bigger than mine.

I sometimes get to feeling sorry for myself, especially this time of year. But, no matter how low or awful things may get there always seems to be someone else who is worse off than I am.

I love your attitude, sometimes when i do not like the food, i just remember to be glad and thank God that there is food on the table and it turns to the most wonderful meal

Absolutely Patsie. You should treat each day as your last and enjoy what you have. Have a blast. I tell you I am probably going to get banned or kicked out of any nursing home I end up in. I want to have fun fun fun. You should organise things with your friends there and go out for coffee or something and do some people watching!
