My Wish Did NOT Come True!

I know this is a silly wish but I wished that we did not have a cold Winter at ALL. Every year it seems I want it to stay warmer longer and longer. I am thinking that one day I may just have to go on the big search to find a place, in the USA, that never gets cold. I mean nothing under 55°F.
I have never liked wearing a lot of clothes and I prefer barefoot to shoes and air conditioning to heaters.
Today the high is going to be 40°F and tonight a miserable 20°F and I have seen on the news that some cities are opening up extra shelters for the homeless.
Do you like this cold weather?

The older I get the less I enjoy cold winter weather. I can understand why so many people go to Florida for the winter

I do like the 4 seasons that we experience. I do not like the snow and ice that comes with the winter season, but its part of life so I just grin and bear it.
We went from mild temperatures and rain to a drop in the temperature to just below freezing and snow within an hour this morning. Who knows what this afternoon will hold.

@andriaperry cold weather is my worst enemy. Our deep freeze has made us feel really down. I am doing some work now but will get to bed early and my hubby is already in bed feeling poorly. Our cold is supposed to last until the 17th and then we'll get a break in the weather.

I watched church on T.V. Joel Osteen , then went out but it was up till 40° by then.

@andriaperry I agree with you all the way. I don't care for the cold weather at all. I moved to Arizona about 50 years ago to get out of cold weather. We do get some here but not that much of it.
