One Hour

Woke up late at 9; got dressed; fed the inside cats and cleaned litter boxes; fed the 2 outside cats; fed the cat that lives in the woods; fed the donkeys, then fed the kitty at the abandoned house. Drove the 5 miles to town to pick up cat litter and stopped by and picked up some sweet feed for the donkeys. Came back and unloaded the feed, dumped, cleaned and refilled the 45-gallon donkey water bucket and 2 smaller ones for the raccoon's; all this in one hour. I think I'll have a cup of coffee and a smoke now.

Aww shucks, thank you @LadyDuck . Even when my appendix ruptured, I was taking care of them first. I took care of them, called someone to look out for them, and then called the ambulance. I was in the hospital for 7 days and the surgeon said I had only about 2 hours left to live. That was a close call.

@LadyDuck Had I not made it, I'm sure God would have said, "You're in charge of the critters."

Oh and it (coffee) tasted so good @jaboUK . Sometimes I amaze myself at what can be accomplished in a specific time-frame. Of course as cold as it was this morning (30 degrees), speed kept the blood moving.

That's usually my start to the day (except the trip to town) @TiarasOceanView . Depending on the weather, I'm in the pasture pulling weeds or fixing broken fence line or mowing the 10 acres. The one thing I do hate is having to unload a 70-pound bale of hay from my 'car' and 2-50 pound bags of feed. That takes a lot for me in my condition to do; but I do it anyway.

Nope, I waited until after I got back to get that first cup of coffee @garymarsh6 . No sense in getting a cup first and getting all comfy. Once my feet hit the floor, it's pure adrenaline.

I like this. I will now make some Hotel Blend, my Community favorite. It's 45 degrees in Dallas right now.

If I didn't have my coffee, I'd be a wreck @lookatdesktop and our weather here in Texas has been totally weird. The water tubs for the critters have been frozen in the morning.

I wished you could send me some of the quickness and the care that you have. They would be too very helpful for this lazy brat...
