I´m preparing my home for the last diner I´ll have ay my house. / myLot

No. It´s not a sort of last supper. But I´m going away for 2 weeks and I owe a good diner to some friends who are always inviting me to the movies or to eat out. As I want it to be a special occation, I will make a fondue bourguignon. I already bought the meat (the best there is) and wrote down the list of the ingredients to make the sauces. I have mango icecream for dessert, good wine and real coffee. I will not have any appetizers as I don´t want them to fill their stoomachs with other food. Do you think that I should have a green salad?

you could always prepare one and set it aside - if it looks as if guests can eat more serve it, if not save it for future use - sounds a lovely way to celebrate going away for a while - hope it all goes well for you

Thanks friend. I went to the super and decided om a light lettuce salad with touches of sweet pepper slices and homemade croutons. I´ll serve it before the fondue, while the oil is being heated.

I decided on a light salad. Lettuce with a toach of sweet green peppers and some homemade croutons.

I wouldn't know about the green salad, but It sounds like a great meal.

I love it, but I am not sure about the salad, mostly because we are going to be crowded at the table. I will not extend it so we all reach the pot with the oil.
