myLot is such a diverse community with members that live all around the world. I think it will be fun to share some areas/places of my state to you all! I live in California by the way! Whenever I am going on a road trip, or exploring an area I am not familiar with, I love to use Yelp! Yelp helped me locate this awesome dessert place called Snow Monster. Snow Monster is a dessert place known for ice cream sandwiches between macarons or cookies. Also, cotton candy, cinnamon roll sandwiches, sundaes, jar drinks (thai tea, jasmine milk tea, strawberry lemonade) and shaved snow. This is an ideal place for the younger generations to hang out with their friends and you could play board games here also! (Photo attached belongs to me.) Macaron Ice-cream Sandwiches: Left to Right: - Pistachio Macaron w/ Taro Ice-Cream - Toffee Crunch Macaron w/ Pistachio Nut Ice-Cream Jar Drinks: - Strawberry Lemonade + extra $2 to keep the jar! The jar will be a souvenir as I don't live in the area but if you do return, you could bring the jar and purchase refills to save money. The jar itself is very cute and reuseable! Have you ever tried ice cream sandwiches with macarons? What kinds of desserts do you enjoy eating?

No I don't believe that I have had ice cream with macaroons. I love fried ice cream, flan, banana pudding and frozen yogurt the most.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Your post "You need to go to the store!" totally inspired me to write about some areas/places of my state. It would be cool to discuss as we all live in different areas and have different lifestyles. Maybe I'll be back with an amusement park review sorta tomorrow! I love macarons! I am so obsessed but don't get me wrong fried ice cream is delicious too!

@infatuatedbby They still sell those ice creams in Italy, but they are less popular than in the past. The new craze are the unusual flavors.

I love using Yelp as opinions also! I don't judge on the star based rating but more for the images to get an idea of the particular places! Snow Monster is located in Southern California. There are a few locations in Westminster, Huntington Beach, Irvine. Soon coming to Long Beach.

The jar is good to use to get refills or just drink out of at home.

Yes! I will be bringing the jar back when I next go. But the jar is total cuteness alone also for at home use! Right now the jar is just displayed on my desk for decoration.

I don't think I"d be able to choose between the pistachio macaroon or the toffee crunch so I guess I'd have to have both!! I love ice cream
