My stroll in the garden this afternoon had a pleasant surprise awaiting me. This peacock was gingerly walking in our garden oblivious of its surroundings. It let me capture it in my camera. I did record a few videos too.
We have had peacocks visiting us before but it has been months since their appearance again.
Here you see it perched high above where are water tank is located.

Peacock is a national bird and no one can own them. With concrete jungles mushrooming everywhere they are displaced.

I get several birds every single day with their lovely chirps. Peacocks are rare visitors here and so their cry I can put up with.

@allknowing I see peacocks only rarely.First time I am seeing one standing at such a height.

what a treat!! i know a gal'n the other side'f town that raises 'em - the white'un's also. if'n it t'weren't fer these bird pups 'n cats, i'd gimme a couple :) beautiful birds! do ya pick up their feathers when they drop 'em 'n use 'em?

I've seen peacocks at the zoo and love when they strut their stuff and fan open their feathers
