Back to the deep freeze

Yesterday and today we managed to be in the 20's, which seems warm after our cold weekend, with highs right around 0. Unfortunately, it is just a short break from the cold. Starting tomorrow, we are expected to drop back into the deep freeze, even colder this time than last weekend. Our high for tomorrow is only 0 degrees Fahrenheit and we aren't expected to get above 0 again until at least Monday. The last time I checked our lowest low is predicted to be -26 degrees, that's cold even for North Dakota. I have to work tomorrow and Monday, but thankfully I should be able to stay inside all day Saturday and Sunday, the coldest two days of the forecast.

It sure is nice when one can stay inside when it is that cold.

Thankfully we didn't get the coldest temperatures they were predicting, we had clouds that kept us a little warmer, but we still had a few days where we didn't get above zero.

I don't know if I could stand living where it is so cold. I've never lived where the temps are 0 or below. I've pretty much always lived in the south.

I don't enjoy it, but I'm used to it. I don't think I would survive summer in the south, that's way to hot for me.

@fawkes62 Yes, it can get really hot and humid during the summer months.

I can't take the cold anymore. It's 65F in FL and will pour tonight with a possible tornado. Just understand that it's winter and stay indoors as much as possible. Brrrr

65 F sounds lovely, but I'll pass on the possible tornado. Thankfully we are a little warmer now, it's in the teens today, and we have a possible 30 degree day coming up this weekend.

Thankfully it didn't get quite as cold as they were predicting, but it was still really cold and the wind chills were very dangerous, in the -30s and -40's.

I would hate to be having to go out in such cold temperatures.

We go out as little as possible when it's that cold, and dress really warm when we have to go out.
