Dear Tooth Fairy, I know you can see my tooth, but it fell out and I am very excited. I put it in the box that you gave me for Hanukkah. I loved that you gave me a present. I wasn't expecting it to be from you. Now this box is very special to me, and I am so happy to use it for the first time. Your Loving Friend, (My 7 year old granddaughter's letter to the Tooth Fairy)

So sweet ! As a Chinese, I hear about the tooth fairy for the first time. The tales about tooth fairy are so cute for these little children.

I am pleased you learned something here. I have a brand new dollar bill for good luck that my Chinese student gave me on Chinese New Year.

What a cute letter and what a pretty box. They have such cute ideas for all of these things now. I should look for a little box for my great nephew. Something his late mother would have thought of for sure.

I got my grandson one in blue at a children's toy store. So sorry to hear about your great nephew's mom. That is so awful.

That's such a sweet letter! My son's 3rd and 4th teeth just fell out last week, and you remind me of the forgetful tooth fairy has not pay a visit to him yet.

You must! I got it at Jesse's Toys in Orange. Perhaps you can call them. They have the most unusual goodies and most are educational. I think they have a shop in Hamden, too. I bought a blue one for my 5 year old grandson.

Now you have to tell her that the Fairy Tale missed again her house and you have the money. You are such a sweet grandmother.

She is a little doll. Thanks. For some odd reason, the Tooth Fairy left money at our house, again! I will deliver it to her when I see her in a few weeks.

Lol! My grandson told me that the tooth fairy got cheap. First tooth - $20, second tooth $5. So the tooth fairy keeps leaving letters at my house with $20 for each kid. I am in the poorhouse!

Oh bless her. We used to have a sixpence coin placed under our pillows during the night. Of course with inflation it is now £1. What a beautiful little tooth box. I shall have to look out for them when we come to New York in March. I have never seen them here!

I bought it in a small toy shop in Connecticut. I am sure the buyer bought it in NYC. Hope you can find one. You really like NY!

That's so cute! Kids sure do get excited for the tooth fairy. Mine love that she comes and it definitely made them more excited to lose their baby teeth. One of them was scared at first, I can't remember which one though, but knowing the tooth fairy would come helped make it less scary.

Definitely works! My granddaughter lost a tooth at camp, but the tooth fairy leaves all campers a good size chocolate bar.

Isn't it? My daughter in law wanted to post it on Facebook, but my granddaughter often checks her posts. We don't want her to know who the real Tooth Fairy is, so it will be saved.
