There will be no water for two days....

...in the whole city! I noticed about this when I went to bathroom in the morning. Maybe some supply pipes bursted or constructions are going on. I am not aware about the exact reason though, its usual in our place. Luckily we got notified on the newspaper about this. And again we are lucky its not a workingday after all. So we got some time to execute our backup plans. We collected some water in some containers for our daily needs and cooking. There is still some water left on the tank. But it'll soon be empty. I hope we are all set for two days now. I should make me use water more carefully today.

We need to conserve water at this kind of issue. I can't live without water. Luckily, we don't have to worry about that. We have also back up containers at home. @maezee I agree. It is really a mind-blowing without water supply.

You are right, we should be more careful in using water. We must preserve and do not waste it as it is one of the essential factors of our life. We have this problem often and we are used to it. Glad to know your place doesnt have similar problems.. My country should learn from others in the case of these essential services

@aju007 I guess I am lucky because living in the mountainside of the Philippines. It is not likely that we experience scarcity of water.

It is agony when you lose your water supply, I can vouch for that.

You're right, it could have been worse than this if we weren't aware about it.

That doesn't sound good. But, at least you had time to stock up some water.

Yeah, we were lucky to be notified before that. Here it's not common to be get notified before this kind of incidents as it is usual around here. At some other occasions we had to guess about 'will it be there today' by looking at the amount of water that come out of the main taps! Lol

@aju007 Man that would suck to not have a heads up. I can think of 2 occasions when we didn't know that the water would be cut off. I turned on the tap and nothing came out but I wish we had known before hand.

Gladly it's fixed now. I learned a lot from this experience. Water has to be preserved in a good manner.

True. We had to make some restrictions on our daily activities due to this. And gladly the supply is restored now.

@aju007 Even though you knew ahead of time it is terrible to be without water for two days. I hate when all of a sudden there is not water and no notice and then what to do. That is the problem. I have a water bottle in the frig and I think two others in a place in the kitchen as well.
