Do you have a pet?

January 20, 2016 10:15pm CST
Playing with my pets is one of the most effective ways for me to relieve stress. They are just so cute and cuddly. I know you might get a scratch and a bite but hey, it's worth it. :P What is your pet and what's his/her name? :)

Two adult male senior cats, both brothers. Marshall and Wylie--named after Marshall Faulk, a NFL football player and Wylie E. Coyote.

Nice. How does a senior cat behave?

@YannaNeko Very well. Both love attention and TLC. No different than a kitten and a regular domestic cat.

@KristenH I see. Some say they become less playful and just prefer to spend the day sleeping.

We have 2 dogs that live in the house with us. Boomer is a labrador, and Rusty is a mutt. Neither one of them want to play very much anymore. They are both pretty old and mostly want to sleep. I also have a betta fish named Maxwell, and a goldfish named George, and 2 cory catfash, and an algea eater who all have no names. We had a cat named MoeMoe until a stray dog killed her her earlier this month.

Sorry to hear that. Was she still a kitten? We have a cat too and the neighbor's dog kept chasing him but I guess the dog never hurts him.

@YannaNeko No. MoeMoe was an old lady cat. She was 15 years old and still going strong.

I have a female schnauzer, she is a very active dog and whenever I play whit her or pet her, I enjoy it very much. I relieve stress, I feel much happier, I forget my worries. I thank the universe for having her with me.

I have a wonderful cat named t and is almost 16 years old, thriving, still playing, eating wet food regularly and a real joy to keeping our blood pressure and stress levels way down, cats just are that way, natural calmers

I read somewhere that a cat's purr helps you relax and calm down.

Kabang? Interesting names. The other one's named after the famous dog, I see.

I have a 13 year old beagle. Her name is Nattie. I have had her for almost 7 years now. She most differently helps relieve my stress and makes my days better.

Cool. Pets are the best. They can make you feel so happy and very sad to if they are feeling sick.
