The biggest Cat to ever walk the Earth was the Saber Tooth Tiger, they roamed the earth, for over a million years, but have been extinct, for around 10,000 now. Saber Tooth Tigers were very similar to todays big cats in size, but could probably get a little bigger around 1,100 pounds and, 13 feet in length, the thing that made these guys especially dangerous though, was their foot long sharp saber teeth, the biggest Cats to live today are the Siberian Tiger and, the Liger, which is a mix between a male Lion and, a female Tiger, there is also a mix between a male Tiger and, female Lion called a Tigon.

They would be pretty scary to have around these days, but I do love all cats. I think they are sleek, graceful, and beautiful.

@TRBRocks420 I think all wild animals should be in the wild in their natural habitat. I am not into zoos and circuses because that is like giving an animal a life sentence of captivity when they are totally innocent! I don't want to get started on what I think of zoos! And circuses!

I've heard of the Liger, but not the Tigon. Interesting facts on the Saber Tooth Tiger.

@just4him I will have to look it up. I know the Liger looks a lot like a big Lion, but has faint Tiger stripes. I don't think they have the mane though.

Just hope that no one gets DNA from anywhere, and turns it into a living tiger. That will be too horrible for the people in the region.

I have never heard of a Liger or a Tigon. That's crazy. Wasn't there a Saber tooth Tiger on the Flinestones

Yeah, I know I wasn't sure if Liger's really existed, but they do and, Tigon's also. I will do more research on them soon and, yes there was. I'm glad you remembered that

Even if you got one as a kitten I think as it got older, you could become its lunch @Marcyaz . The big cats natural instinct would take over.

I didn't know a Tigon was a serious name for an animal. I've heard of it before but wasn't sure if it was true or not lol that's cool.

As you know @TRBRocks420 , I love cats and wouldn't mind having a Black Panther. I have 2-20 pounders but can you imagine an 1,100 pound cat? All of the large cats are truly beautiful.

I love the ordinary cats, the ones one can have indoors and have them on your lap purring and happy. If I live in the future paradise that Isaiah 11 talks about, then I could even sleep with the big cats.. We will see if God creates this huge cat's DNA again, or restores it when that time comes.
