What I would like in life today

Today I wished I had a maid to help me clean the house. I have already done all the laundry.
I really wished I had someone I could hire to come in that knows how to cook and is clean with food.
I wished I had a butler to run out and get me what I need Vicks vapor rub.
But since I do not have of the above I will continue to dream of having all of that at my beckon call.
I am about to cook fried okra, kale, butter beans and fried potatoes and onions.
What are you having for dinner?
Sorry about complaining, I think its all in my currant mood. Where is @unclejoe ? He can usually get a smile out of me .

When I still lived with my parents, I remember we had two helpers and a nanny (because I have younger brothers and sisters). The only household chore that I do is make sure my room is clean and baking occasionally, or cooking whenever I feel like doing it. Most of the time, our laundry is taken cared of, etc. Now, I cannot afford to hire a help. I have to do everything myself.

My mom used to have help come in a couple times a week but there was 5 if us kids and she needed the help and she got to leave and not take us :)

As long as I have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food in my stomach and get up in the morning I have everything I want/need--anything else is extra!!
OMG!!! Vicks vapor rub!! I haven't heard or seen that for years and yet just reading it I can remember the smell!!

When we are not feeling our best we often make wishes but in the end we still have to do everything ourselves. Enjoy your supper!
I had a big supper yesterday so today I will eat light or so I think. (endives, zucchini and tangerines)

Hello dear friend. Your dinner sounds delicious.
I know the feeling, I often just have to fend for myself sick or not.
We had baked cod, lovely yellow potatoes, and peas.
A nice meal.

We all have a complaint on occasion, you're no different.
We had a small roast beef, potatoes, corn, gravy and fruit pizza for dessert. I use a rice krispie base, and yogurt as the tomato paste and then we had raspberries, banana slices, kiwi slices, blueberries and pineapple chunks on our pizza. I try to keep it healthy so no whipped cream like a lot of recipes call for.
But, if you find that butler, AND he has a brother, send me a pm would ya?
