Am I literally the only one having this issue on MyLot?

ok so earlier today I posted a discussion talking about how I've visited some of my old discussions just to find there has been many people who have responded that I didn't know about. I had no notifications about it.
To the awesome MyLotters who responded to my discussion about that, thank you.
But now there is another issue annoying me lol That red notification keeps coming up saying I have "1" but I actually don't. Like it says I have 1 notification but when I click it, it then says I haven't got any.
It can't literally just be me having this issue or is it?

Everybody experiences this from time to time. It seems to happen sometimes when the subject of a notification (a discussion, response or comment) is deleted or, perhaps, edited so that the URL changes. I usually get rid of the red number by pressing F5 (to refresh/reload the page).

aw ok well that makes sense. Well I can't see F5 on this laptop. But I have at least refreshed it another way or closed the tab many times but it still pops up. Hoping it will go away soon. Keeps on making me happy thinking someone is talking to me just to find out I am....still alone..

It does happen from time to time, for unknown reasons. I popped in to your account for a moment and it seems as if there are no more false notifications. Let me know if you see different.

@VivaLaDani13 Something which occurred to me (because I have missed it in the past) is that you may have a message or a suggestion which you didn't notice. I sometimes find that my eyes forget to check the left hand side to see whether there's anything else I should look at.

The "1" notification only just started early this morning and wont leave. Just curious if it was happening to anyone else.
Maybe it will stop sometime during the rest of my day or tonight.

This is because a person who blocked you left a response on one of your post. You can't delete this response because you're blocked. I have it too. The same person responded to one of my topics and I can see their response or even get rid of it. it is annoying and I'm tired of it. But when they block you there is nothing you can do about this at all.

Instead of relying on notifications, I would say that you should go to your discussion(s) and check out the responses given by other users. Like-wise if you feel that you need to know about the comments on your own responses, you could check such discussions. I hope you know how to check status of your own responses and comments thereon?

Yeah I had to go back and have a little look and I scrolled through all of them and I answered everybody I saw who I hadn't answered back so that is all taken care of now.

I have had that probelm too, and I never really thought about it all that much either. It is kind of frustrating though, when it says I have one notification when I don't. I do think that it is a glitch, and I do think that it will be get fixed in time once that the admins find out about it.

@VivaLaDani13 It certrainly is, but when the admis are told about it,, they fix any problems that come up as soon as possible. I don't get that problem to often though, so that is a good thing.
