It probably sounds a bit odd but this week I'm hanging out at Old Trafford, the world-famous home of Manchester United Football Club. So am I playing football, watching football, or doing anything even vaguely associated with football? No, absolutely nothing. The company for whom I work are having their first annual sales 'shindig' for two full days and then I have to hang on a day longer for some training - not kicking balls, training on a project management system.
Last night we had a reception in the team's museum, surrounded by cups and trophies, shirts old and new and displays about the team's glorious past.
Sad that I'm hanging out in a meeting room with a table full of cake.

Actually it really wasn't boring but it was very hard work and my legs ache from standing all day and I'll ,most likely wake up with no voice in the morning.

@Asylum You can't imagine how much there was. The sweetest thing was the young girl working at the stadium whose eyes lit up when I said she could take anything she wanted. "REALLY?" she asked, "Are you sure you're serious?" So we told them to call all their colleagues and come and clear the room.

What kind of cake are you having. The whole thing sounds good to me.

Many many different types. I struggle to choose a favourite.
