My Flower Challenge

Our good friend Rachel @Raelove has issued us a challenge.
It is a challenge to brighten up a gloomy day which we are experiencing a lot lately.
If you have some colorful flowers in your photo arsenal, please be kind enough to share some with us. It will all makes us happier to see some colors instead of just drab.
Here is my contribution for today.

@sueznewz2 The monarch butterflies stop here (because of the plants that we have in the gardens) on their annual migration to Mexico each year. They are around for about ten days and they are so beautiful. When you step out into the back yard and see them fluttering about everywhere you think you're dreaming, so it was hard to take a picture during that timeframe without a butterfly or two in it!

These are lovely, what are they called Marlina? I always see them in peoples gardens around here if I go for a walk.

Im more interested in growin some house plants but one time one of my moms friends deliver a small port of flower and i planted it in some plant. I ask mom if that's gonna grow but she told me its impossible because there was no root.
