Online Shopping saves time, gas, but now...

Victoria's Secret Haul
United States
January 27, 2016 4:26pm CST
... I have to go to the store to exchange one of the items! I love shopping online especially when I have gift cards and you qualify for free shipping too plus sales! However the downside with purchasing online is that you can't physically touch the fabric or try on the items so it's kind of hard to shop especially since I vary in size depending on the item. What I bought? I ordered these items from Victoria's Secret from their sale section. - Pink Gym Pant (My favorite purchase of them all) - The Most-Loved Yoga Crop Pant (I have to exchange this because I don't like the quality) - Pink Flannel Short (I bought this for my sister and it's a little big for me so I don't know if it'd fit my sister) Can you relate to shopping online? Do you ever have to exchange some of your purchased items in stores due to the quality? Or sizing? Other?

I don't buy clothes or shoes online as I need to try things on for size. But I do love to shop online. What fun.

I love online shopping also, especially when there is free shipping with no minimum. I always ensure there is a nearby store encase I don't fit the items though! Luckily Victoria's Secret is only 15 minutes away and I have to go to that mall to make a bill at Macy's anyway!

@fishtiger58 All the stores I shop at like Macys, Nordstrom, Victoria's Secret, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc - if I am not satisfied, I can return in stores or you can ship it back also. But I prefer to handle refunds, exchanges in store.

I don't like shopping for pants online because I never get the right size. The headache and hassle is just too much to go through with returning so I try to repurpose or give to others what I can't wear. I've only ever returned one item that didn't fit quite right. This was because it was for a wedding and for my cousin not me.

I can't shop for jeans online, maybe like sweat pants/yoga pants/leggings usually I'm fine. Luckily this store is only within 15 minutes so I'll make a exchange sometime next week.

I shop for very little in the way of clothing online because the sizes vary so much and yes even go to a store sometimes you will buy two of the same item but when you get home one is to large or to small.

I usually try on clothes in stores but online I find myself buying two sizes and returning later.

Well I love to go for shopping I am not a fan of online shopping as you can't claim for the money back there.

For me, when I shop online - I make sure there is a physical store nearby so if I need to make any exchanges or refunds I could.

I can only shop online if they deliver by Canada Post so that limits me. I haven't bought many clothing items on line.

I think sometimes for Canada, you have custom fees which can be quite pricey too?

@infatuatedbby Well, I only order from Canadian sites if I do order. But even so, some of them only send by courier and no couriers come where I live.

I like shopping online. Perhaps my size is very normal and the clothes I bought online suit me. However, my husband is different. I bought him clothes online and it didn't fit his size. So I had to send them back and exchange larger size of clothes. So buying clothes online for my husband is risky.

I am glad to hear shopping for you is a breeze online! For me it's in reverse, for my boyfriend ~ his size is universal and 99% the clothes works out for him. For me it's 50/50 lol.

I've only bought T-shirts and sport jerseys online for my sons as far as clothing goes. The only reason was because the items were only available online. And they know exactly the sizes they need and what to expect from the purchased items. They've seen similar items physically in the store, so there's no surprises.

I love shopping online but for me sizing is quite difficult. For boys/men, they are always universal at sizes!

I like to shop online, except for shoes, pants, and other stuff which are costly. I have really small feet, I am short, and of course I cannot afford to lose money over a failed online purchase.

I only shop at stores I know that are physical and nearby just encase I need to exchange. I am always seeing these cute clothing at Asian websites and such but I can't buy from there.

I like shopping on line too, but buying clothes is iffy. I bought two maternity tops and pants fro my grand daughter I law. They didn't fit her. She gave them to her pregnant skinny sister lol.

Online shopping is generally a hit/miss for me also! But, glad your daughter in law was able to give the clothes to her sister and not go to a waste.

I shop quite a bit online with Amazon, but I am easy to fit. My wife does not ever get clothing online. I did recently make a return to them on some shoes that did not fit.
