The problem in Flint magnified the fact that lead is a problem throughout the country. There are too many homes that have lead pipes. There are too many home that used lead in their paint. Paint chips and dust has been a big concern when it comes to exposure to young children. How many of our children have disabilities due to lead in the atmosphere, on the land, and in the water? It's a huge problem!

Some people want the lead paint because it last longer not caring about the health of anyone around it. Greed is part of the problem.

Agreed and in addition to your question about disabilities in children what about long-term exposure to lead by many adults who are experiencing and showing signs of dementia-neurologically-related diseases before the age of 60 ????
