Wow hoo, it's Friday do you know what that means! It's pay day for me!! This week with babysitting even with two days off from this big snow storm and Friday of last week off as well, I still manage to make $80 for this week. It's less then what I normally make for the week which is about $100 or a little more. But this is enough to finish paying off my kids birthday party and pay my mother in law $25 for the car for this week. I'm glad it's Friday!

I get paid on the lower end of what babysitter's get paid. I make about $8/hour for two kids. When I first started out years ago it was $9.50 and hour, most make about $15/hour. I know the family and money is tight so I take $8 and hour and they would pay more if and when they can. I've been with them for 2 years now.

That is good for the family that can't afford more that you would take less.

@Marcyaz I see it as some times people need help and even low income families need childcare. So I provide it where its need and the kids love each other.

@softbabe44 Yes, made it through the week and made $80 plus my husband's paycheck came in the same days as i'm which doesn't always happen.

I normally make about $160-180 a week depending on when the kids get picked up. I might not have the kids on Monday because I have to bring two of my kids to the doctor at 10am and I'm hoping I'm done by before 12:15 to be home for 12:30. After next week I get the youngest at 8am and have him till about 5pm. But the $20 isn't for myself it's for the family even my husband puts some money in when he get's paid

Save yes invest not so much. But we are putting the money I make aleast some of it into another bank that we can't touch and the rest where it needs to go for us to pay bills. It's not cheap having a family of 5.

Aww thank you! I was very happy to get paid this week because I know the money went to make our two kids happy at their birthday party. It's also good to know that I had money to buy food for this up coming week.
