Were your parents divorced?

I was talking to a friend who was saying children from divorce are different than parents who stayed together (until at least adulthood). I was scratching my head, because technially my parents are common law and still together. I said well in a way I sort of see that. How one holds a job, responsibilities, and relationship aspects.

Interested in knowing the differences. Trying to think about the people that I know in my life and how they are. Might have to do some research on that one

It takes chances and sacrifices of getting married. The last option is to file a divorce. In my country, it is not allowed. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. However, if things didn't really work out; then, annulment will be the last option.
