Very young ones sleep for 10 to 12 hours. Children sleep for 9 hours Adolescent youth for 8 hours Middle aged persons for 7 hours Elders sleep for 5 to 6 hours a day. If one practices to sleep at a fixed time, and develop a habit of getting up at a fixed time, it is good for health. I sleep at 11 p.m. and get up at 6 a.m.
