S'more Brownies With a Preschooler

This afternoon I enlisted the help of a three year old to make something I had seen on Facebook.
S'more brownies sounded like something we would enjoy.
I googled the recipe. Quite a few variations were offered. One thing that disappointed me, every recipe used a brownie mix.
I have nothing against a mix, but really. It doesn't get much easier than baking brownies.
With no mix on hand I used my own brownie recipe as the base and then used the Nestle recipie to finish.
These things are good.

They really were not hard to make. The preschooler helped me. The hardest part was waiting for this to cool down.

You don't need any baking experience to make these yummy brownies.

I wish I could send you a piece. It tastes as good as it looks. It was very easy to make.

Sounds good. I have two brownie mixes waiting to be made right now. I want to eat them, but I don't want to get away from my computer to make them, so there they sit.

@Morleyhunt Nope. I probably won't be making the smore ones anytime soon. Maybe when I have grandchildren. And, I've not made the other two boxes of brownies yet either. I thought about making them for today, but it's low-key for us. I bought a small heart cake instead. Much easier and faster.

The picture shows the uncut 9x13 brownie, waiting to be cut. I cut it into 32 pieces. It is yummy....kind of messy, but yummy.

They look awesome. These days almost no one makes scratch brownies which is a shame since they are easy to make.

They were quick and easy to make, even without a brownie mix.

It is always on the menu when camping. This summer we had a bonfire in our back yard complete with marshmallows and all the fixings to make s'mores.

I looked at several recipes. You'd think that at least one would have been totally from scratch.mi usually have a cake mixin the cupboard, for emergencies.
