It is all in the bag!

I got inspired with a discussion of a fellow lotter @nottoooledtowrite about her lunch with her favorite bag. I commented that I prefer the big bags where I put all my paraphernalia; I have another bag though where I put the documents and papers needed for the duty (assignment sheets, notes on documentation, Kardex, dummy charts).
I am using the big green POLO bag and this bag is truly spacious. My baby powder, lipstick, cologne, alcohol, my wallet with all my identification cards, a bag where ball pens of different colors are kept.
It is actually all in the bag.
Do you use big bags too?

I love big and spacious bags for everyday usage. If I am going out, I like smaller bags - depends on the occasion.

I have BPI black shoulder bag that I use when we go to church. The gift given by my brother, I will use it only for special occasions.

I now use a medium sized bag. When my children were younger, I carried a large bag. My children called it, Mom's Caboose.

that is great, my friend. now that your children are older, then your bag may contain only your personal belongings (make-up or loose powder). So, your big bag is already kept in the cabinet?

@ridingbet the important things in my bag are my wallet, my glasses, my smartphone, a pen, paper and my keys. Usually there is also a roll of mints, some tissues and a small vial of hand sanitizer.

@Morleyhunt - on one vacation I got tired of carrying everything and took my kids shopping. I bought myself a small bag and told them they could each buy a small bag or carry their back pack sight seeing. I was Done hauling all the stuff.

@ridingbet Even with the few things I have, I cannot zip it closed.

but my friend, if you have just a few things to keep in your bag, i think you can maintain your smaller bag as it is.

@just4him oh! Maybe you have many items inside that is why you do not zip it close?

@ridingbet That is true. I try not to keep my bag too heavy so my posture doesn't suffer

a big back pack is also nice when we travel. otherwise, it is cute to use a small back pack, because your hands are free from holding the bag; problem lies only on one's posture.

@T_gray yes, that is why i don't use back packs because it may not align my spinal column.

@ridingbet Bags are annoying to me. I have no secure place to keep it at work so it stays in the trunk of my car. Which is not a great solution. I put some essential things for the day in my lunch bag. Then I forget to put it back in my main bag, etc. A big nuisance!

@paigea but I think having a big bag is also fine because you do not need to hold many things in your hands; keeping them safe in your bag is always better.

well, if your shoulders hurt because of the heaviness of your bag, then I think you can use a smaller one, but if you still need to put your other things, then maybe you have another handy bag aside from the shoulder bag?

my sister-in-law gave me a big bag which can become a portable cushion for my baby boy (way back 1991). Now, the bag is safely kept in my cabinet.

using big bags is convenient for us because we can keep many important things that we should bring wherever we go. sometimes, my right shoulder would also droop f mt bag has some heavy stuff inside.

indeed. When i tell my students not to leave their valuables in their bags, I always tell them to bring along with them their "desktop, car, refrigerator, television set" and other appliances, because they too, use big back packs.

yes and you cannot use a back pack if you are in your formal wear, right?
