I enjoy having a nice, big salad with my dinner. I like to use Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, green pepper, carrots, red onions, white raisins, and croutons. It makes for a colorful mix. Of course, sometimes I like to add meat to the salad. There are a host of other items that you can put in a salad. What do you put in your salad?

When I make a salad at home I prefer just iceberg lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, salt and pepper and ranch dressing.
When out I might get raisins, croutons, nuts, chicken, or feta in.

My salads are usually pretty tame but I do enjoy them. We make one with English spinach, strawberries, poppyseed, sesame seed and a dressing and it is delicious.

For my everyday salad I do iceburg letture, spinach, green peppers, cucumbers, and sometime red onion. Then top it with croutons, bacon, cheese, and dressing. If I have it then chicken, either fried or grilled. My salads aren't really healthy by the time I am done with them, but so yummy.
