Swagbucks Daily Goal Meter

If you are a regular at Swagbucks chances are you have seen the daily goal meter on the toolbar. I try to hit the first goal every day to earn a 300SB bonus that is awarded the first week of the following month. The daily goal does increase if you routinely hit the first goal; I have had it get as high as 180 points and that was impossible for me to hit without doing offers, trying surveys and watching videos. There are two goals, if you hit the first one every day of the month you will earn a 300SB ($3.00) bonus plus all of the daily bonuses for hitting the mark. If you hit the second daily goal you get that amount but no increase in the monthly bonus (300SB). For me this is a way to keep motivated; when there are a lot of point-earning opportunities and it doesn't take long to hit the first daily goal then the site is amazing but when it takes a while to scour the site or you are routinely shot down for surveys then it becomes tedious. The bonus payout does not count towards your daily goal and you do have to claim the amount each month (this changed a month or so ago). Does the daily goal motivate you to work harder at the site? Where do you earn most of your SB from? (videos, surveys, offers etc) Have you downloaded any of the apps for your phone?

Oh it sure does! I aim to get that first goal every day so I can get that bonus and if I'm lucky I just might get the second. But I call it quits shortly after - like you said, the goals get higher - and I don't want to sweat it - ha ha. I mostly get it from the videos (thought nCraves are no longer available to me) and if I'm lucky I'll qualify for at least one survey a day (if not, I'm still able to make the goal though it will just take longer). I downloaded the app, but didn't like it - I'd rather SB from the computer!

Lately so many things do not credit that I am pulling back. I have been working hard on the goals. I usually have to get at least one survey daily. I do not have a mobile to run their apps so that is why I have to do so many other things.

If you want to do the apps like SBTV and have wifi you can buy a cheap smartphone (eBay or Amazon) and opt to not have phone service with a carrier but use the wifi connection for internet. It's a guaranteed 32SB per day so if you can find a cheap used smartphone it's worth looking in to.

I do the searches and surveys and today I finally had a survey I qualified for and yesterday I cashed out again.

Good job! I have a few Swagbucks left in my Swagbucks account - and I haven't been on lately nor have I cashed anything out in years and years. Maybe I Should get back on it. I used to just earn by using the search engine, and I earned a few Amazon gift cards or Paypal transactions with that. I know they offer a lot more these days, including surveys, which I have yet to check out. What is the minimum payout over there again, is it 500 SB? I have also noticed a lot of GPT and survey sites wanting people to download apps to their computer or phone. I am a little wary of this, although these programs seem to pay well, as I just don't feel too comfortable with that....Have you downloaded an app to your phone or computer? If you have, let us know your experience!

I have the Swagbucks app and SBTV and if I clear the cache on them on a regular basis I never had problems with it hogging memory. When I need 10 or 20 points to hit a goal I know I can do those without any problem. The downloads are quick and it has only asked me to update them once. There are some apps that just aren't worth it because you have to watch ten videos or listen to ten songs just to make 1SB. That's totally not worth it for me

I do SB sprradically, so I don't have much right now, and it will take me a long time to get anything, as I am just not doing it that much. I do need to get back to it though, azs I have it on my iPhone as well. I basically only do the videos. I am never qualified for the surveys, and I won't waste my time even trying. I never knew there is a a daily goal. I have never tried to meet it either.

I find that the more goals I achieve, the higher the goal the next day.

They do up it if you hit the goal so if you have a couple hundred points credit from Shop and Earn or any other sign-ups you could see it jump a little more than usual. That isn't fair since it is a one time credit but I think the automated process behind it doesn't take that into consideration

@DianneN If you are worried about spam you could change your email address and use it for sign up offers, newsletters etc. You do have to MAKE SURE that the email you use for payment and in your settings is the one you use when you sign up for things or you won't get credited.
