One of the writers I know about is having trouble signing up with myLot

I was contacted at another site by a member who wants to move from there to myLot. What would be the reasons that might prevent him from joining?

I kept getting the message that my e-mail wasn't compatible or something like that. I tried a couple of times and gave up. When bubblews quit for good I tried again and luckily it accepted me that time. I have no idea why.
