Songwriting and Poetry

So, I just love to write songs, and poetry. I'm a more of a songwriter, since I play the guitar. I have written many songs that a lot of folks like here in East Tennessee. I have written sad songs, happy songs, all kinds of songs. So, I would like to start putting my work on here, if it's OK with the mods and Admin. It's not written by anyone else, just wrote by me. If you have a problem with me putting my lyrics on here, please let me know, and I won't upload them on here. Thanks

I don't see where that would be a problem. I posted a short fiction piece I wrote earlier.

I can't see that it's any different from putting poems on here, and I do plenty of those. As long as you aren't trying to get people to buy anything, it should be alright.
