With all the electronic devise and able to contact people just about everywhere. Do you remember the ham radio.This was very,very big a few years back. I am sure that this is still big.Just about every truck driver had an ham radio and some at home.There are many ham radio club still working out there. I have never had one.But most of my friends did. you can connect with people all over the world?are they still doing this. The photo is public domain

@amadeo That is what they called themselves in England. Don't know any in Canada.

I remember them..but we never had one.... there are lots of groups and organisations out there that keep this form of communication alive...inspite of the digital age....

I think that's a thing of the past now- and only in clubs, etc. i think that Instagrams and texting has taken over now!

@amadeo Oh no Alfredo I'm sure it's around- it's just not popular- I think some truckers, etc. still use it.
