Random Word Post – quirt

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “quirt – A short-handled riding whip with a braided rawhide lash.” This wasn’t so random of a word. I’m reading a biography of Crazy Horse, and I was reading how some of the warriors who wanted to die in battle would charge the enemy with only a quirt or a club. What’s a quirt, I wondered. In case you’re wondering, Crazy Horse stuck to using a rifle.

I bet the history of Crazy Horse is quite interesting. I wanted to try to use this new word in a sentence but I honestly have no context to go with it. Lol.
